Welcome to Fairview Community School
Welcome to the all students, staff and parents and families to Fairview Community School.
Fairview School is a vibrant K-7 Community School with approximately 418 students, reflecting a rich tapestry of ethnicities and socio-economic backgrounds. This diversity not only enhances our school community but also fosters a deeper understanding and celebration of our differences.
Our dedicated staff embraces a growth mindset, collaborating regularly to improve our teaching practices and support one another in meeting the diverse needs of our students. We firmly believe that cultivating a welcoming and safe environment is essential for academic success, ensuring that every child feels a sense of belonging.
Fairview is proudly situated on the traditional lands of the Snuneymuxw First Nations. Through the Syeyutsus Framework, we honor and respect our land and our educational practices are influenced by the First Peoples Principles of Learning. These principles guide us in creating a community of learners that values inclusion, respect, and a commitment to understanding the rich histories that shape our lives and community.
We offer the Strong Start Program every day from 9am-12pm.
